TAEKWON-DO
Grading Syllabus

A Taekwon-do grading assesses a student’s progress, skill development, and readiness to advance to the next belt level. It ensures consistent standards and recognizes achievement.

The difference between senior and junior grading syllabuses is crucial to meet the developmental needs of each group. Juniors require a slower, more structured progression to build skills and understanding at an age-appropriate pace, while seniors can handle more advanced content earlier.

To support juniors, additional "stepping stones" have been added to the syllabus. These smaller stages align with children's physical, cognitive, and emotional development, offering clear goals and frequent reinforcement. This approach boosts motivation, confidence, and long-term progress, ensuring a balanced learning journey for all students.
